Rules for Protesting and Appeals

1. Any member in good standing may file a protest, must be filed within 20 minutes after main event.
2. All protests must be in writing on a protest form accompanied by $25.00 cash
3. Protests involving removal of intake, exhaust and/ or head must be specific on the protest form accompanied by $300.00 cash.
4. If illegal the protestor will have protest fee refunded, if legal the protest fee will be paid to the protested driver.
5. If Tech personnel require removal of intake and/or head $150.00 will be paid to driver if legal.
6. Illegal infraction date
   • 1st - will result in loss of points and awards for that race date.
   • 2nd - will result in loss of points year to date and awards for that race date
   • 3rd - will result in loss of points for year and suspension for the rest of year.
7. Appeals regarding non safety related tech or protests must be made in writing on appeal form no later than 3 days after race date. Tech committee will review techman's written decision and written appeal and make final ruling.
