Points Structure

TIME TRIAL POINTS

Number of cars will determine the total number of points for qualifying, the fastest qualifier getting the number of cars x 2 diminishing down to last place getting 2 points

Ties: the first car to have timed in receives faster qualifying position.

HEATS

Number of cars starting will determine number of points, each position thereafter diminishing by one point depending upon which heat you qualify for to the base level. See example below this is for a 20 car field.

A Heat (Fast Qualifiers)—–10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 6, 6…

B Heat(Slower Qualifiers)—–7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 3, 3…

MAINS

After main event top five cars must go directly to scales or you will be automatically Disqualified .

• Finishing points start at 50 points unless there is more than 25 cars at which time it will be the number of cars x 2.

• Diminishing by 2 points by the finishing order.

• Passing points are 1 per position gained.

Ties in points are decided by most main event wins and finally heat wins.

Any car not qualifying does not receive passing points.
