Flag Rules

Any driver who does not obey the Flag Rules will be subject to disqualification and/or fined by the track and club. Light signals are also used on this track. Drivers should have a definite understanding concerning signals and flags before they race.

GREEN FLAG
Start of race or qualifying lap and track is clear.

YELLOW FLAG
Caution, go slow, single file, hold position. No passing. Not allowed to race on yellow flag.

RED FLAG
Indicates DANGER. Come to a controlled stop!! Bad accident. Track is blocked.

BLACK FLAG
A rolled up black flag means a warning. A full flag means go to pit at once for consultation. Pull into pits NOW. Mechanical difficulty or rough driving. Failure to comply to the black flag after 3 consecutive laps will result in discontinuance of scoring

WHITE FLAG
Only one lap left to go.

BLUE WITH YELLOW STRIPED FLAG
Move over. Slow moving car to hold their position on the track (if you are on the inside stay to the inside and let the faster car pass to the outside, if to the outside stay to the outside and let the faster car to the inside) and allow faster cars to pass.

CHECKERED FLAG
End of race or qualifying lap. Winner of the race.
