The 2007 Year end banquet was held at the Village Green Hotel were all the drivers gathered for the last time this year. It was full of trophy presentations and speaches. With Les Hein walking away with the most hardware. There were a few drivers that told Les, look out next year we are coming for him as they want to take home some of that fancy hardware and the trip to Vegas.

Well 2007 was a tough year on many teams in the Nascar Street Stock class with a spectacular Daytona crash the first race of the season at the finish line on the last lap taking out several cars to the points battle at the end of the season from second place down. Also with several blown up motors, crashes, fires and some great competitive racing that the street stocks have been known for, fans were always given some edge of the seat excitement as they cheered on there favourite racer. As the 2008 season creeps upon us be on the lookout for some more competitive racing out of the Okanagan Street Stocks class. Things are heating up as this class will be growing and more cars are being built and coming out to play in this fast paced class. So pick a driver or your favourite car and cheer him/her on to victory in 2008!
